QuickBooks Sync Issues
For ServiceCEO Web Users who link to QuickBooks, there was a new rollout that was implemented in the evening of Thursday June 2nd. If you notice that your sync to QuickBooks is failing, please follow the steps below to fix the issue:
  • At the point when you have selected the invoices/payments to be sent over using Common Actions option "Export to QuickBooks", you are redirected to the QuickBooks Checklist.
  • You will see a line there "The ServiceCEO Connector for use with QuickBooks is installed on your computer. If it isn't, Download and install it now." Select the download option.
  • This will download a file called setup.exe. Click on that file to run it.
  • If the setup file gives you an option to modify/repair/remove the program, choose the remove option.
  • After the file has completed the uninstall process, click on the setup.exe file to run it again. You should then have an option to install the program. Follow the steps to do so.
  • Once these steps have been completed, you can return to the invoices/payments list and choose the option to export to QuickBooks as normal. The sync should now complete as expected.
